... I'm jealous of the people I see,
I can't help myself but, they move so free.
While I'm watching them, I'm hearing the things they say
Being nailed to the ground, day after day

But no one has a haircut as beautiful as mine,
I'm the oldest tree in the familyline
My haircut makes me feel unique,
In spring my leafs turn greener by week

No one knows what I know, no one sees what I see
People don't know what stories I can tell, for I'm just a tree
I'll tell them to the birds, before they lay their heads
I'll tell them to winds, as they sigh along through their nests

Still I wish I had a mouth, to tell people how happy they should be
To go where ever they want, to see whatever they wanna see
Still I wish that I could walk, because then I would be free
But people will never hear my wisdom... because therefore I'm a tree
I just wondered...
